East Side Momentum: How Noblesville’s Entertainment & Innovation Corridor Is Powering Growth

Noblesville’s east side is on a tear. Anchored by Simon’s open-air Hamilton Town Center, Live Nation’s Ruoff Music Center, and The Arena at Innovation Mile, soon to be joined by USA Gymnastics’ new national headquarters and Training & Wellness Center, and Caterpillar’s new motor prototyping facility, this corridor is fast becoming a regional destination for retail, sports, entertainment, and innovation. Together, these assets are drawing visitors, catalyzing private investment, and creating a thriving stay-and-play ecosystem that benefits local residents and businesses alike.

The Economic Engine: Entertainment + Events

  • Hamilton Town Center (Simon). Since opening in 2008, HTC’s open-air streetscape has evolved into a full-service visitor core with shopping, dining, services, and family-friendly programming, key ingredients for a vibrant, all-day destination.
  • Ruoff Music Center (Live Nation). Indiana’s premier outdoor amphitheater seats roughly 24,000 and hosts a robust national touring schedule each season, filling nearby hotels and restaurants on show nights and driving repeat visitation throughout the summer.
  • The Arena at Innovation Mile. Our flexible, ~4,000-capacity venue (3,400 fixed seats) is built for more than basketball. As the home court of the Pacers’ NBA G League affiliate, the Noblesville Boom, it is also purpose-designed for concerts, graduations, trade shows, and community events, thereby multiplying year-round economic activity on the east side.
  • USA Gymnastics: A National Magnet. USA Gymnastics will relocate its headquarters and open a U.S. Training & Wellness Center at Innovation Mile, bringing athletes, families, and governing-body events to Noblesville while further cementing our brand as a sports and wellness hub.
  • Innovation Mile: Noblesville’s 600-Acre Growth Platform

Running along 141st Street between Olio Road and Prairie Baptist Road, Innovation Mile is a master-planned, ~600-acre innovation district designed for high-growth companies and mixed-use amenities. With The Arena as a flagship and USAG’s HQ/TWC as an anchor, the district is positioned to generate sustained visitor traffic, new jobs, and a long-term tax base, complementing the retail and entertainment assets just west along I-69.

Visitor Readiness: Where to Stay

Eat & Unwind: Dining and Night-Out Options

Inside/around Hamilton Town Center: Ford’s Garage, Houlihan’s, Chuy’s, Olive Garden, Pies & Pints, Livery, Red Robin, Koto Japanese Steakhouse, Stone Creek Dining Co., and more, perfect for pre-show dinners, team meals, or casual family bites.

Why This Cluster Works (and What’s Next)

  • Concentrated demand drivers. A national-caliber concert venue, a flexible arena hosting professional basketball and events, a premier retail/dining district, and a national sports governing body HQ together create layered demand during the day, evening, weekday, and weekend.
  • Built-in itinerary. Visitors can arrive for a game or show, shop and dine at HTC, and stay overnight, boosting local spend and length-of-stay metrics.
  • Scalable district. Innovation Mile’s 600 acres give us room to attract additional sports, life-sciences/health-tech, and advanced manufacturing tenants, fueling a virtuous cycle of jobs, visitors, and amenities.

Plan Your East-Side Stay

  • Book a room: Choose from one of the many hotel options in the area, each a quick drive (or walk) to Hamilton Town Center, The Arena, and Ruoff.
  • Grab a bite: Start at HTC’s Ford’s Garage,  Stone Creek, or Outlaws, then stroll “The Green” for dessert and family-friendly fun.
  • Catch a show or game: Check out the concert lineup at Ruoff, then come back for G League action with the Noblesville Boom at The Arena.

Noblesville’s east side is where big nights out meet big ideas concerts, courtside energy, national-team training, and cutting-edge business growth connected by a visitor-ready mix of hotels, restaurants, and amenities. It’s a playbook for sustainable, experience-driven economic development written right here in Noblesville.
