NOBLESVILLE, IN (November 7, 2025) – Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen announced that due to the federal shutdown, the city will collect non-perishable food items at City Hall, 16 South 10th Street, as a lead into the Noblesville Fire Department’s 48th Annual Food and Toy Drive. Food will be collected at City Hall between Friday, November 7, and Thursday, November 13, between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. The food will be donated to the White River Christian Church Food Pantry.
“In times of uncertainty with the government shutdown, the City of Noblesville will continue to give back and help our neighbors along with dedicated nonprofits and faith groups working constantly to address food insecurity,” said Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen.
“Local communities do not have the luxury of shutting down and we also won’t turn our back on our most vulnerable. I encourage anyone who is able to help to consider dropping off food to City Hall. Noblesville is glad to play a small part in amplifying and supplementing efforts in this critical time of need.”

In addition to the food drive hosted by the City of Noblesville, the Noblesville Fire Department is accepting canned goods, non-perishable food items, and new, unwrapped toys from Monday, November 10, through Friday, December 5. Donations may be dropped off at any of the Noblesville Fire Stations or at Noblesville City Hall. Deliveries to the families will take place on Saturday, December 13.
