Noblesville Boom Mascot Bobby the Bobcat named 2025 Holiday in Lights Parade Grand Marshal

NOBLESVILLE, IN (December 1, 2025) – Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen has announced that Bobby the Bobcat, mascot for the Noblesville Boom, the G League affiliate of the Indiana Pacers, will serve as the Grand Marshal of the Holiday in Lights Parade.

The 2025 Holiday in Lights Parade, presented by Gaylor Electric, begins at 6:30 p.m. Saturday, December 6, in downtown Noblesville.

“The City of Noblesville is excited that the Noblesville Boom recently kicked off their inaugural season at The Arena at Innovation Mile,” said Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen. “I appreciate how the community has shown up to support the Noblesville Boom and know Bobby the Bobcat will bring energy and excitement to the parade.”

“Bobby has already become a fan favorite in our first season, and seeing him lead this year’s Holiday in Lights Parade is a perfect reflection of the connection we’re building with the Noblesville community,” said Ryan Grant, President of Business Operations for the Noblesville Boom. “We’re thrilled to be part of a tradition that brings so many families downtown, and we can’t wait to add a little Boom spirit to one of the city’s most festive nights.”

In addition to Bobby the Bobcat and over 55 participating groups, Santa Claus will be the last entry in the parade. To encourage holiday spirit, the Holiday in Lights Parade will present participants with the Merry & Bright Award, Holiday Spirit Award, and Jingle Bell Rockstar. City departments will also be in the running for the Most Spirited City Department Award.

The parade route will start at 16th and Harrison Streets and travel south on 16th Street to Logan Street, turn right on 9th Street, and turn right on Harrison Street to end at Ivy Tech’s parking lot.

Public safety and Hamilton County Emergency Management will work together to provide an illuminated and safe parade route. The parade route will have a sensory-friendly zone located along Harrison Street between 10th and 12th Streets.

“I enjoyed seeing our community come together last year to enjoy the Holiday in Lights Parade and know that this year will be just as special as our historic downtown is illuminated, homes are decorated, and participants and parade goers spread holiday cheer,” Jensen said. “The Holiday in Lights Parade is the perfect way to start the holiday season in Noblesville.”

The Boom have played four home games in front of spirited local fans at The Arena at Innovation Mile, including yesterday’s 111-109 victory over the Wisconsin Herd. Tickets for the remaining twenty home games are available through the G League’s website.
