What We Do

Why Noblesville

Noblesville is IPF’s original home and has supported our mission from the very beginning. Its strong sense of community has made it an ideal community for our organization, allowing us to grow and expand our programs and services to individuals navigating Parkinson's and their families across Indiana.

Noblesville has been home to IPF ever since it was founded. The founding family resided and still resides in Noblesville with many personal and professional ties to the community. IPF has many partners, sponsors and volunteers that come from the area and we are very grateful for the support they provide for our programs, services, and the Parkinson's community.

Recent Milestone

Since 2009 IPF has grown to be a trusted resource across Indiana, offering CLIMB classes, support groups, and educational events that connect individuals and families to the tools, community, and care they need. In addition, IPF is launching a Young Onset Support Group this Fall for those diagnosed before age 50, offering connection, resources, and support tailored to individuals managing careers, families, and life after diagnosis.

Workforce Strategy That's Working
One workforce strategy that has worked well for IPF is investing in specialized training and ongoing support for our CLIMB instructors. Through our CLIMB training program, we equip fitness professionals with the knowledge and tools to safely and effectively work with individuals with Parkinson’s. We then provide continued education and regular touchpoints to ensure consistency and quality across all locations. This has allowed us to build a confident and mission-driven team of trainers.
Attracting & Retaining Talent
To attract and retain talent, we focus on hiring individuals who are aligned with our mission and passionate about serving the Parkinson’s community. Once that foundation is established, we invest in their growth by reinforcing our core values and providing the training they need to succeed. Building our team in this way ensures each new team member strengthens our culture and keeps us focused on our goal to improve the lives of those we serve.

How NED Has Helped Us

Noblesville has helped with community engagement and our events including the promotion of our Pickleball 4 Parkinson's event in 2025. In 2027 our Choose to Move Race will take place in Noblesville and we hope to be included in city communications promoting not only this event, but also the programs and services that it supports.
