Noblesville is proud to announce that USA Gymnastics has chosen Innovation Mile as the location of its new national headquarters and U.S. Training & Wellness Center (TWC). This exciting development, unveiled at The Arena at Innovation Mile, places one of America’s most iconic sports organizations at the heart of Noblesville’s boldest new business district.

A New Home for Gymnastics in America
Construction is expected to begin in spring 2026 with completion by the end of 2028. The new headquarters will be built from the ground up just north of The Arena at Innovation Mile, combining administration, athlete training, and wellness spaces all under one roof.
“This facility will be the heart and hub of gymnastics in America,” said Li Li Leung, CEO of USA Gymnastics. “The city of Noblesville has been incredibly supportive of our vision in terms of being able to build a centralized training and wellness center.”
The new center will provide training spaces for the national teams as well as top-tier athletes preparing for international competitions. Beyond elite training, the facility will also be open for clinics, classes, and community events, inspiring the next generation of gymnasts right here in Noblesville.
A Holistic Approach to Excellence
Leung emphasized that the new headquarters will go beyond athletics:
“Athlete wellness and community wellness are key aspects of this facility, so there will be areas of focus on mental and nutritional well-being. Education is also a big part of it, because this will be a hub of educational clinics.”
Bringing all of the sport’s disciplines together, men’s and women’s artistic, rhythmic, trampoline and tumbling, acrobatic, parkour, and gymnastics for all, the center will unify what is currently a decentralized training system spread across the country.
“What’s happening right now is that training camps for our national team athletes are happening in different locations,” Leung said. “Bringing them under one roof will help us realize efficiencies, share best practices, and cross-pollinate ideas across all the disciplines.”
Voices of the Gymnastics Community
The gymnastics community has embraced Noblesville’s selection with enthusiasm:
- Jaycie Phelps, 1996 Olympic gold medalist and Hall of Famer: “Having a state-of-the-art facility will be a benefit to everyone who has the opportunity to come here for a camp or clinic, including athletes and coaches. I am excited about what this will do for the sport of gymnastics as a whole, especially here in Indiana.”
- Alex Renkert, USAG Athletes’ Council Chair and World medalist: “Finally having a home for gymnastics, where athletes from every discipline can train, connect, and thrive under one roof, is incredibly special.”
Anchored by The Arena at Innovation Mile
The TWC will be strategically located beside The Arena at Innovation Mile, a new 4,000-capacity multisport venue and home of the Noblesville Boom, the Indiana Pacers’ G League affiliate. The Arena will host select USA Gymnastics competitions as part of the district’s build-out.
“The Arena at Innovation Mile will be a catalyst for bringing premier events to the community. Athletes and fans will experience a state-of-the-art venue designed for collegiate, professional, and international competition.” – Madison SanFilippo, Vice President of Sports Management at REV Entertainment

Economic & Community Impact
According to Noblesville officials, the project is expected to deliver significant long-term benefits:
- $609 million in new spending over 25 years
- 209 new jobs created
- $35.9 million in state taxes and $16 million in local taxes generated
- An estimated 22,000 hotel room nights per year in Noblesville, supporting nearby hotels and amenities
“This will send a message across the world that Noblesville is a key player in central Indiana when it comes to sports,” said Mayor Chris Jensen. “We’re going to continue to engage in these conversations, not just with folks that are already here, but those that are looking for a new home as well.”
Surrounded by Amenities & Access
Visitors, athletes, and families will benefit from Noblesville’s strong amenities and connectivity:
- Hamilton Town Center for shopping, dining, and entertainment is just minutes away
- Dozens of nearby hotels, including new developments along Tegler Drive
- Direct access to I-69 connecting Noblesville to Indianapolis International Airport and Central Indiana’s wider sports ecosystem
Investment & Fundraising
Noblesville has committed at least $40 million in incentives through land donations and tax-increment financing bonds, while USA Gymnastics is expected to invest $80–85 million in the project. Together, the public-private partnership reflects a 65-35 investment split and a long-term commitment to both the sport and the city.
In addition, USA Gymnastics will launch a national fundraising campaign to support construction and operations. The campaign will determine the final scope and development of the TWC, which aims to serve the entire sport, from youth development programs to Olympic-level training camps.
Why Noblesville?
USA Gymnastics considered nearly 18 cities nationwide and narrowed the finalists to Noblesville, Westfield, and Colorado Springs. Noblesville’s ability to deliver community support, incentives, and alignment with Indiana Sports Corp’s 2050 Vision to elevate women’s sports ultimately set the city apart. The city stood out for its:
- Alignment with Indiana Sports Corp’s 2050 Vision to make Indiana the women’s sports capital of the world
- Strategic location 20 miles north of Indianapolis in the heart of Central Indiana’s sports ecosystem
- Nearly 600-acre Innovation Mile district designed as a hub for sports, business, and technology
- Strong community and civic backing, including significant incentives and partnerships
“We fit very nicely within this long-term vision of sports in the greater Indianapolis area—they want to become a women’s sports capital,” said Leung.

Looking Ahead
With nearly 240,000 members nationwide and responsibility for training America’s Olympic and World Championship teams, USA Gymnastics’ investment in Noblesville represents more than a relocation—it’s a generational opportunity.
For Noblesville, the project will bring global visibility, inspire future athletes, and strengthen the city’s identity as a place where business, community, and excellence meet.
