A national site selection publication ranks Indiana among the top five states in the nation for doing business. Area Development magazine says the rankings are based on the responses of location consultants, who were asked to make choices in a dozen categories.
Indiana ranks fifth, with the publication highlighting rail and highway accessibility and its leadership in economy recovery. It also points to the Major Moves deal and the state's 2010 GDP of 4.6 percent, the third highest growth rate in the nation.
