Indiana Railways
The Indiana Rail Road is one of the most successful regional railroads in North America. They are an industry leader in employing innovative technologies that put safety, efficiency and communication as top priorities. The Indiana Rail Road moves the equivalent of 800,000 truckloads of freight each year.
The Indiana Rail Road offers service advantages other railroads simply cannot match:
Central Location: Headquartered in Indianapolis, the “Crossroads of America,” and located in the heart of America’s industrial and agricultural core. Our system is within a short drive of seven interstates, numerous four-lane highways and the U.S. inland waterway system.
Class I Railroad Connections: Connections with six North American Class I railroads at Chicago, Indianapolis, Louisville and other locations.
Local: Unlike larger transportation systems, our success relies on building relationships with customers and being accessible.
