Fast Track Permitting
Here at the City of Noblesville, we want to ensure your development process is as smooth as possible. We realize that fast, efficient governmental permitting practices are important to developing and expanding businesses. That is why we have developed a Fast Track Permitting process which includes, among other things, a single point of contact throughout the qualifying/permitting process to better inform the prospective developer of City requirements. This individual will facilitate meetings and act as an information conduit to whom all information is submitted and from whom answers to the developer's questions shall be obtained.
The general process includes an initial meeting with the developer to discuss the overall project and to develop a checklist of items, documents and submittals needed for the specific project. A plans review timeline will be developed and agreed upon by both parties which includes submittal deadlines and review for all development related issues. Subject to the business' adherence to the schedule, review and written comments will be provided within ten (10) working days of submittal of required documents to the City.
Qualifications
Just like our tax phase-in program a new or expanding company must meet one or more criteria to become eligible. This criteria includes but is not limited to: 1) number of new jobs created, 2) total project investment and 3) annual payroll.
Limitations
It is important to note that this does not necessarily include any limitations the State permitting process may entail. Also this does not incorporate any properties that may need to be rezoned for use.
