The City of Noblesville’s Economic Development Department is a publicly funded organization dedicated to the growth and prosperity of Noblesville, Indiana.
Our purpose is to allocate and leverage economic development resources to sustain and enhance the economic growth, vitality and global competitiveness of Noblesville as a superior business location. Our services include site location assistance, creative incentives and customized research for business prospects considering Noblesville. The ED Department is also focused on the retention and expansion of existing businesses and fostering economic growth in our historic downtown commercial district.

Christy Langley | Assistant Director Economic Development

Christy Langley is an Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Noblesville and her responsibilities include managing the Façade Improvement Grant Program, the trail and connectivity directive, maintaining the marketing and public relations for economic development to audiences locally and across the country, business retention and expansion and downtown redevelopment planning. Previous to working at the City she worked in Sarasota County, Florida's Neighborhood Planning Department, interned with the Indiana Association for Community Economic Development as well as the City of Indianapolis and served as adjunct faculty at Ball State University. She is on the Board of Directors for Noblesville Main Street, sits on the Hamilton County Tourism Commission and co-chairs the Noblesville Young Professionals Group. She holds a B.S. from Ball State University in Urban & Regional Planning, an M.P.A. from IU, Bloomington and recently acquired her AICP certification.

Judi Johnson | Assistant Director Economic Development

Judi Johnson is an Assistant Director of Economic Development for the City of Noblesville with the responsibility for business attraction, retention and expansion, also new and existing business support and relationship building. She serves on the Noblesville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors and the Executive Board for the Hamilton County Alliance. Prior to joining the City of Noblesville, Judi was on staff at Prevail Inc. of Hamilton County, serving as a Community Development and Special Events Director. Judi graduated from Purdue University majoring in Public Relations and Communications. She is a 2011 graduate of Oklahoma University 's Economic Development Institute and graduated from the Ball State University "Building Better Communities" Economic Development Course. Judi is a 2008 graduate of Hamilton County's Leadership Academy and actively serves on multiple non-profit boards and committees including, The Cherish Center, Good Samaritan Network, and Promising Futures of Hamilton County.

Lisa Ferguson | Secretary

Lisa Ferguson is Secretary of Economic Development for the City of Noblesville and has been with the City since 2007. Originating at the Street Department she joined the Economic Development team in 2010 and it has continued to grow as a passion ever since. Lisa actively organizes and manages the annual Hamilton County Job Fair, multiple event calendars and business lists and is the face of our department and the Mayor's Suite greeting guests daily. She is a graduate of ITT Business Institute and previous to working here at the City she was an accountant at Irving Brothers, Inc. and also treasurer for a local school corporation.
